Dr. Kerinna McDonald completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Southern California and her Doctor of Optometry degree at SUNY Optometry. While in optometry school she rotated through private practice and community health center externships and participated in clinical science research and volunteer community vision screenings.
Dr. McDonald has since worked in a wide variety of optometry practice modalities: independent private practice, optical settings, nursing home-based practice, and industry research. She was the Energeyes Association (AACO) Recent Graduate Keynote Speaker in the year following her graduation.
Dr. McDonald served as the Principal Investigator in an applied clinical science research project that led to the development of Acuvue Define contact lenses. In her spare time, Kerinna McDonald enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and exploring New York City. She has a working knowledge of Spanish.
